Community Invited to Share Their Thoughts on the City’s Economic Development Strategic Plan
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan - The City of Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce the development of its Economic Development Strategic Plan. The plan is designed to support economic growth and job creation in the area, and the city wants to ensure that it reflects the needs and priorities of the community.
The Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation (EDC) hired consulting firm Explorer Solutions to conduct the plan development and stakeholder engagement. The survey aims to gather feedback on the community's priorities and goals for economic development, as well as gather ideas for initiatives and strategies that could be included in the plan.
"We want to hear from our residents about what they believe is important for economic development in Sault Ste. Marie," said Jeff Holt, Executive Director, Sault Ste. Marie EDC, "That's why we’re inviting residents to participate in this survey and share their thoughts with us."
The survey is available online at (www.bit.ly/ssm-edc-strategy) and will be open until Friday, February 17, 2023 The survey is expected to take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will be available in both online and paper form.
